I started looking into these glasses after seeing a friend link them in a post. After reading the reviews (which were so universally positive and well written I thought they might be fake) I decided to take the leap. I have never ordered prescription glasses online before so I was a bit skeptical that something might go wrong. I am happy to say that I am now happy to add to the properly punctuated and coherent reviews stating that these safeties are the best. They are even more comfortable than my current "not for work" glasses. Big fan, thanks!

I purchased from Hyspecs because they’re a local Albertan company, something I love to support! I had to email to inquire about prism prescriptions, as it’s not directly shown on the site - but Peter was extremely helpful getting me an invoice.

Due to being a custom lens order, they took slightly longer than their usual predicted ship time. But only about a week more. It only took a few days to get to me (near Edmonton). Peter was very communicative throughout the process.

The frames fit perfectly, stay on my face, and are lightweight. They’re stylish enough to use at work and as regular frames, especially with the removable side shields (huge money saver). But one of the things I’m most impressed with is how CLEAR my vision is. Most online orders have enough of a discrepancy from my prescription that my vision is a little off. These are crystal clear.

My husband and one of my coworkers (both with prescriptions) already are looking to get themselves a pair when their benefits roll over.

Lightweight, sturdy, stylish and best looking prescription safety glasses I’ve ever worn. I’ve had “Wiley X’s” and “On Guards” but those brands just don’t make frames as stylish as Hyspecs’s.

Have had these for 3 months now and they started cracking around the frame. Of course just after the replacement warranty period. I work 7/7 shifts so I could say that I only use them half the 3 months I’ve owned them. Never been dropped or abused. Stored in the baggy that it came with when I ordered, and then stored in the padded eyeglass pocket of my work backpack.

If this is how it looks like after 3 months then I imagine it wouldn’t last till my Optical Health Benefits reset.

Was able to get a replacement frame through warranty. The customer care/service is unmatched. Peter is was helpful and accommodating about my issue.

Was given few tips about preventing damage to the frames. Apparently some chemicals could weaken the material of the frame, one of the listed ones that would apply to me would be Sunscreen. I work outside and recognize the fact that I’m not stronger than the sun, so I use sunscreen.

Will try my best to take care of this new frame and only time can tell how these will hold up. I still think these are the best looking prescription safety glasses out there.

Light, comfortable and good quality product. Finally safety glasses that you can wear all the time without realising. The removable side shields are and excellent touch!! I live in Scotland and the ordering process was easier than going to my local optician!

I’ve been wearing my new Hyspec icons for the past two weeks. I bought the basic RX lenses for work, but I’ve been blown away with the comfort, fit and style that I’ve basically replaced my other glasses. The frames are a little more bold than I’m used to but they’re comfy and secure and I no longer have my glasses falling off or have to strain to keep my glasses on. I’m excited for potential new styles in the future too.

The side shields are super for adding protection and coverage. They block wind on my bike commute to work and are great for working in my woodshop. I’ve found they do slightly distort my peripheral vision and create a tunnel vision effect. I work in the carpentry maintenance division and travel between sites regularly and have removed the side shields for most activities(they’re super easy to do and store for when needed).

I love how versatile these glasses are. They’re my new go to and I know my eyes are protected for all activities, work and adventures alike. I look forward to my benefits rolling over and getting another pair, maybe even the transitions lenses. The customer support and Hyspecs team has been amazing!

Only been wearing them a few days but they are the best safety glasses I've worn for carpentry. I got the progressive prescription and they are perfect. The fit and feel are great. Was a little skeptical at first spending the money on them but definitely worth it and Peter is great at customer service. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

I really like my hyspecs, both prescription and non prescription versions. I recently bought the prescription transition lenses (that darken when it is sunny) and they are the best yet. I had a frame break and Peter was really on top of the warranty process. Great to have a business who really supports their products.

Very nice glasses. And snappy looking! Also, as someone who needs to take them off frequently to see things close up, that they stay on my forehead predictably is a big bonus.

I spend a lot of my working day in a chemistry lab. In the past I have had prescription lab specs made for me but they have been clunky and heavy. I decided to try hyspecs and I am very happy with the glasses sent to me. The prescription is spot-on and the glasses are light and effective. I recommend the optional clip-on see-through side attachments which give extra protection.

These glasses are amazing light weight, great vision and extremely comfortable. I never would have thought this I’m usually frustrated with safety glasses fogging up, being uncomfortable or just not worth wearing all day. Now with prescription safety glasses it’s been life changing no more keeping a pair of glasses with me to read plans, no more ruining expensive glasses. I have the durability and comfort all in one
