Care Instructions
Lens & Frame Care Tips
Avoid exposing your eyewear to harsh chemicals like WD-40, sunscreen, spray foam cleaners, or other solvents—these can cause stress cracks or damage lens coatings. If your glasses come into contact with any of these, rinse thoroughly with water.
Cleaning Tips
Scratches on lenses from wear and tear over time are normal and not covered. But if there's an obvious manufacturing defect, or if we ship the wrong lenses, please let us know within 30 days and we’ll replace them.
Are Hyspecs lenses scratch resistant?
We’re proud to offer some of the best scratch performance in the safety eyewear industry. To meet high-impact safety standards, we use polycarbonate lenses instead of glass. While polycarbonate is great for impact resistance, it has a softer surface, which means it’s more prone to scratches. That’s why no lens is 100% scratch-proof.

Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
NON-PRESCRIPTION
Orders general leave out warehouse within 1-2 business days. For Canadian orders, we have a 3-8 business day shipping time depending on the shipping method you select at checkout. You will see an estimated delivery window in checkout for your order.
PRESCRIPTION
Lens processing takes 15–18 business days because each pair is custom edged, coated, and finished to order. As soon as it's ready to ship, we'll email your tracking number.
How do I track my order?
Once it's on the way, you'll get tracking info via email to follow your new specs right to your doorstep.
Does Hyspecs offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping to select countries. Free shipping eligibility requires a subtotal order value above the free shipping threshold, including discounts, and all prescription orders enjoy free shipping.
When will my order ship?
All orders usually ship within 1-2 business days.
Where do orders ship from?
Orders ship from Southern Alberta, Canada.
My package shows delivered but I did not receive it?
Occasionally, carriers will prematurely mark a package as delivered and it will show up a few days later. If it has not shown up within a day or two of delivery confirmation, please contact us, so we may sort it out with the carrier.

Where’s my order?
You’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order ships. Can’t find it or have a delivery issue? Reach out and we’ll track it down for you.
Returns & Exchanges
What’s your return policy?
We offer 30-day returns for both Canada and the U.S.—no questions asked. Just make sure the product is in resellable condition and you’re responsible for return shipping.
- Canada: If your frame has a manufacturing defect or breaks within 3 months, we’ll replace it for free. From 3–12 months, we’ll still replace it, but you’ll cover shipping. “Returned to Sender” orders are refunded minus the original shipping cost.
- U.S.: Same 30-day return window, with some shipping guidelines: use USPS only, mark as “Return” with a $0.01 value, and include the correct HS Code (9004.90.00). Returns via UPS, FedEx, or Purolator will be refused.
- International: We can’t accept returns outside Canada or the U.S. right now, but we’re always happy to help—just email us.
Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund. Please allow up to 7 business days for the credit to appear on your original payment method.
Warranty Coverage
Is there a warranty on the eyewear?
Yep! All Hyspecs eyewear comes with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, things like hinges, coating flaws, or structural issues. It doesn’t cover damage from accidents. Our prescription Hyspecs come with a lifetime warranty. It covers defects, wear and tear, and even wild mishaps. You get a one-time replacement of the same style, colour, and prescription. A small processing fee applies, and the warranty is per product.

What size are Hyspecs frames?

* Icon SLIM Series: 135mm wide – tailored for small to medium fits

Are Hyspecs "True to Size"
Hyspecs are designed for active use—whether you're climbing ladders, bending low, or moving fast—so they’re built to hug your face. This might feel snug at first but ensures they stay in place when it counts.
What if my Hyspecs feel too tight?
No worries—they're adjustable! Run the arms under hot tap water for about 20 seconds, then gently bend the arms near the narrowest part above your ears for a custom fit.
International Customs, Duties & Taxes
Will I be charged customs or import taxes on international orders?
Import duties and taxes may apply upon receipt of international orders. These charges are determined by the customs authority of your country and depend on several factors, such as:
* The country of origin of the product
* Local VAT rates
* Local import policies
You’ll be responsible for paying these fees when contacted by your local authorities or during checkout if a prepay option is available. We recommend checking your country’s import policies if you’re unsure.
Changes and Cancellations
Can I change or cancel my order?
We’re work hard to get your order processed FAST so there’s a short window, usually within 15 hours of placing your order to make any changes or cancellations. If you need an update, please email us immediately and we’ll do our best to accommodate the change.
After that window, there's a good chance your specs are already packaged and scanned in with the courier, which means we won’t be able to make changes.For anything post-delivery, check out our Return & Exchange Policy or reach out, we’ve got options.
